As knee surgeon, Dr. Weninger has treated numerous national and international Professional athletes after knee injuries. References include soccer players from Slovan Bratislava, Rapid Wien, FK Austria, Chelsea FC or Glasgow Rangers but also professional skiers, Volleyball, Handball, Basketball or Hockey. Dr. Weninger is highly active in publishing in the field of ACL repair. He published the principle of advanced ACL repair and is appointed as Professor at the Karl Landsteiner University.
