Since 2012, Rob Bogie has been working at the Anna Hospital in Geldrop, primarily at the sports medical centre TopSupport in Eindhoven. Rob specializes in the knee and shoulder, with expertise in sports injuries and has extensive experience in complex knee injuries.

He also serves as the team doctor for PSV Eindhoven football club. "It doesn’t matter to me whether I treat a professional football player or an amateur athlete. Of course, in the professional world, there are many interests at stake, and the pressure is high. But my feeling towards patients is the same. Actually, the surgery is just a small part of the success. The rehabilitation is crucial and can last up to a year. Here at TopSupport, everything comes together with the presence of multiple disciplines, including high experienced rehab physiotherapists."

A good and pleasant contact with colleagues, physiotherapists, and general practitioners in the region is also important to him. "Through organizing training sessions, courses, and webinars, we try to maintain our mutual contact as best as possible. By sharing the latest developments, we keep challenging each other." Since 2021, he has been chairman of the ESOC (European Sports Orthopedic Congress), which organizes a biennial sports congress at the Philips Stadium. PSV/NOC-NSF:
Rob also applies his great passion for sports in his work at PSV. He is the team doctor for PSV and orthopedic consultant at the PSV Academy. TopSupport and the Anna Hospital also have a partnership with NOC-NSF / Team NL, providing care to a wide range of (Olympic) athletes.

SPORTS ORTHOPEDIC RESEARCH CENTER:
Rob Bogie is also involved with the Sports Orthopedic Research Center at Anna Hospital. "In addition to conducting scientific research, we are working on many innovative projects, such as the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and sensor technology in orthopedics." They also investigate the effectiveness and safety of accelerated postoperative rehabilitation treatments. Several research lines have also been established in the field of anterior cruciate ligament injuries.

B&C CUSTOM BRACING:
Due to his extensive experience with knee injuries, Rob often receives questions about the use of prohylactic knee braces. After much research into scanning and 3D printing techniques, they succeeded in developing a rigid 3D-printed custom-fit knee brace. Together with engineer Toine Cuyten, he eventually founded B&C Custom Bracing, and the knee brace is already widely used in motocross and skiing and watersports.
