About Georg Brandl, Dr.

Dr. Brandl is an orthopaedic surgeon and knee specialist with special focus on ACL-surgery and sportsorthopaedics. He is treating patients with all kind of knee pathologies, as well as professional and recreational athletes after knee injuries in football, skiing, basketball, volleyball, etc.
With an average of more than 500 knee surgeries per year, he is one of the top specialists in Austria in his field. Dr. Brandl has developed and published modern techniques in ACL-reconstruction to further improve outcome.
Due to the high case load and experience Dr. Brandl offers high safety and success rates, even after complex knee injuries.
As a fellowship trained surgeon (Dublin, Ireland), and thanks to multiple international affiliations, memberships (AGA kneeligament committee, ESSKA, german knee society-DKG) and scientific research, he ensures state-of-the-art treatment.
