About Dr. Trent Nessler, PT, MPT, DPT

Dr. Trent Nessler is a sports physical therapist and sports biomechanist with 25+ years experience working with porfessional, collegiate and tactical athletes on ACL prevention, rehabilitation and return to sport. Dr. Nessler is the co-developer of the ViMove+ AMI, a wearable sensor technology for assessing athletes for movements that put them at risk for ACL injury. Since its commercial release, this technology has been used to capture data on 90,000+ sport and tactical athletes across 5 countries. The ViMove+ AMI is now considered one of the standards of practice for assessing an athlete for return to sport. With over 320M data points, the ViMove+ AMI is the largest objective movement data base in the world. What has been learned from the data has lead to Dr. Nessler's creation of the AMI Certification Course which teaches PTs, MDs and ATCs how to assess and change movement through his proprietary methodology. Dr. Nessler has presented his findings at sports medicine conferences in 5 different countries and is currently involved in several international ACL studies.

Based on what he has learned, Dr. Nessler developed The Athlete Lab. The Athlete Lab specializes in treating ACL injured athletes and provides a comprehensive holistic approach to the athlete not seen in modern medicine. In addition to sports rehabilitation, The Athlete Lab also includes recovery services (cold plunge, red light therapy, class IV laser, etc), IV therapy, nutritional therapy and so much more.
